Booking and cancellation policy

 

1. SCOPE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to individual accommodation bookings for individuals, unless a special agreement has been made and the terms and conditions of the priced product to be booked specify otherwise.

The hotel reserves the right to use special conditions that deviate from these conditions.

2. RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION

The hotel reservation is always paid in advance. If the customer does not receive a booking confirmation, the booking has not been registered. The reservation is binding on the hotel once it has been confirmed in by e-mail.

When staying, the names of all guests will be provided and will be recorded on the passenger report (according to official regulations for accommodation).

3. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE AT THE HOTEL

Accommodation is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival, unless otherwise agreed in email at the time of booking. The room must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed via email at the time of booking.

4. CANCELLATION AND NON-ARRIVAL AT THE HOTEL

Cancellations must be made in writing to support@polkunuuksio.com

0% refund when canceled less than 48 hours prior to check-in

(The above percentages do not apply to group bookings).

Deviations from the terms and conditions of the reservation are subject to cancellation at no cost, and any advance payments may be refunded if the cancellation is due to serious illness, serious accident, death or other unexpected and serious incident on the part of you or someone close to you. However, the hotel reserves the right to deduct the cost of processing the booking from the refundable amount.

The hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking for compelling reasons. due to force majeure. The customer is then entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.

5. CUSTOMER BEHAVIOR IN THE ACCOMMODATION BUSINESS

The hotel follows good manners and rules. Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the hotel. However, the price of the accommodation and the additional services ordered must be paid and a refund of the payment already made cannot be demanded.

6. THE HOTEL'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PROPERTY

Luggage is the responsibility of the customer unless it has been taken care of by the hotel. There must be a written agreement. The hotel is not responsible for the property in the room. The hotel is not responsible for damages or loss of vehicles or property inside the hotel area or at the hotel’s car park.

7. LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE

The customer is liable for any damage caused intentionally or negligently (such as smoking in the room) to the room or other premises of the hotel, the furniture or fittings therein, and other hotel guests or their property. Liability for damage is determined in accordance with the general principles of compensation. Damage must be reported to the hotel in writing to support@polkunuuksio.com. The hotel shall not be liable for any damage caused to the customer as a result of unforeseeable force majeure or a similar cause not caused by the hotel's actions and the consequences of which the hotel could not reasonably have prevented. The hotel is also not responsible for any damage or consequences caused by normal natural phenomena or encounters with wildlife.

8. SUSPENSION OF SERVICE

Reservations may be blocked or not accepted for a group of customers or a particular customer if the customer does not comply with the booking conditions or when the service provider has reasonable grounds to suspect that hotel capacity is being reserved for illegal activities or activities that could cause harm or harm to the hotel company.
